Geomil Marlin-120 is a seabed support template designed to create a stable seabed environment to work on. The Marlin-120 operates well even on a sloped sea floor which allows for high quality sampling to be achieved.

A standard Marlin comes with a diagonal lifting frame, a CT umbilical winch, underwater power unit, utility guide frame, drill pipe hydraulic clamp, simple and robust surface control interface and a standard skirt. This unit can be stored and transported in a standard 20' sea container.

Further options for a Marlin-120 are a seabed feeder to control drill pipe and eliminate environmental influences, additional stationary seabed clamp, drill pipe deployment options, a skirt which can level the Marlin-120 on uneven seafloors of up to 20 degrees and external Power Take Off (PTO) systems to connect other applications.

Usually Marlin-120 will have a seabed weight of around eleven metric tons.  The seabed feeder gives substantial advances towards drilling operations and especially in quality of sampling.
